The Vermentino Costa Toscana di Tenuta Le Colonne is obtained from 100% Vermentino grapes grown in the territory of Bolgheri, a fraction of Castagneto Carducci (LI). The original vineyards are west-facing and sit on sandy soils, at an altitude of about 40 meters above sea level. During white winemaking, alcoholic fermentation, which converted sugars into alcohol, took place in stainless steel for a period of 12 days. The aging also occurred in stainless steel for several months, in contact with the fine lees. This last choice enriched the wine in terms of structure, aromas, and extracted substances.

The Vermentino Costa Toscana di Tenuta Le Colonne presents itself with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of yellow pulp fruit intertwining with notes of spring white flowers and hints of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is fresh and mineral, enhanced by a pleasant citrusy finish. It pairs well with fresh cheeses, vegetarian dishes, as well as with flavorful seafood recipes.
