The Verdicchio Balciana di Sartarelli was obtained from 100% Verdicchio grapes grown in the homonymous district of the municipality of Poggio San Macello (AN). The reference vineyard, facing North-East, is rooted in medium-textured limestone soils, at an altitude between 300 and 350 meters above sea level. The refinement took place for 10 months in stainless steel, plus an additional 12 months in the bottle. Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Balciana by Sartarelli is produced only in particularly favorable vintages.

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Balciana by Sartarelli presents itself with a straw yellow color and golden reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe tropical fruit that meet floral hints of linden and delicate notes of acacia honey. The olfactory profile is complemented by hints of citrus zest and licorice root. The palate is soft and full-bodied, enhanced by a robust minerality and a clear freshness that persists in the long almond finish. It pairs well with semi-matured cheeses as well as succulent seafood dishes. Also great paired with white meats.
