How the wine is produced:
Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Valpantena 2021 - Bertani is produced using the typical grape varieties of the Valpolicella area, namely Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by maceration on the skins for 12-15 days. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation on the wine's Amarone grapes to achieve greater structure and aromatic complexity. Maturation takes place for 18 months in oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle before being released to the market. The wine is produced in the Valpolicella region, in the town of Valpantena. The vineyards are located on limestone clay soil with excellent sun exposure.
