The Sicilia Bianco di Idda was produced from 100% Carricante grapes grown in the Biancavilla (CT) area, on the southwest slope of Mount Etna, at an altitude between 700 and 800 meters above sea level. During the white winemaking process, which is carried out without maceration of the must on the skins and malolactic fermentation - the alcoholic fermentation lasted for a period of 3 weeks. The aging process involved 12 months in oak barrels and stainless steel.

SICILIA BIANCO IDDA: TASTING NOTES

The Sicilia Bianco di Idda presents itself with a straw yellow color and bright reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and white flowers followed by herbaceous and flinty stone notes with hints of sweet spices. The palate is fresh, full-bodied, and distinctly mineral, leading to a pleasant almond finish. It pairs perfectly with cheeses, vegetarian dishes, as well as tasty seafood recipes featuring white fish, mollusks, and crustaceans.
