The Perlato del Bosco di Tua Rita was obtained from 100% Sangiovese grapes cultivated in the Colline Metallifere area. The vineyards of reference are trained to cordon spur and guyot on predominantly clayey soils with a good presence of gravel. The harvest was carried out by hand in 15 kg crates. The winemaking process included a phase of spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats. The aging was for 12 months in 20/hl wooden vats (50%) and in 40 hl truncated cone-shaped oak vats (50%).

PERLATO DEL BOSCO TUA RITA: TASTING NOTES

The Perlato del Bosco di Tua Rita presents itself to the eye with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it gives off aromas of ripe red fruits which combine with hints of violet and jujube, and notes of Mediterranean scrubland and dark spices. The taste is intense and balanced, supported by smooth tannins and a long balsamic and spicy finish. It is appreciated at the table with aged cheeses and tasty dishes of red meat or game.
