Il Sangiovese di Noelia Ricci: INTRODUCTION

Il Sangiovese di Noelia Ricci is born from 100% Sangiovese grapes from the Predappio area in the province of Forlì-Cesena. The vineyards, trained with spurred cordon, grow on soils characterized by ochre-colored clays and calcareous marls, at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out by hand in 15 kg crates, in the second decade of September. During red winemaking, the alcoholic fermentation spontaneously occurred in stainless steel vats, accompanied by a maceration of the must on the skins for about 18 days at a controlled temperature. The aging process lasted 6 months in stainless steel (70%) and cement (30%), followed by an additional 6 months in the bottle. No clarification or filtration operations were performed.

Il Sangiovese di Noelia Ricci appears in the glass with a ruby red color and bright reflections. On the nose, it opens with aromas of small red fruits followed by floral hints of rose and geranium, and hints of dark spices. The taste is pleasantly fresh and savory, with a smooth tannic texture and a distinctly fruity and floral flavor. It pairs perfectly with cured meats and cheeses as well as tasty land dishes, especially those based on red meats.
