Peperino di Teruzzi is obtained from 60% Sangiovese and 40% Merlot grapes grown in the Casetta area in the San Gimignano district (SI). The original vineyards are located on sandy and clayey soils, at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level. During vinification, the maceration of the must in contact with the skins took place in truncated cone stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28°C. Aging occurred for 12 months partly in stainless steel, partly in French oak barriques and tonneaux of 3rd and 4th passage.

The Red PLACEHOLDER_WINEEXTRACTEDNAME by Teruzzi is highlighted in the glass by an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of sour cherry and ripe red fruits, alongside subtle hints of violet and enveloping notes of wood and dark spices. The taste is intense and structured, supported by smooth tannins and a pleasant fruity and spicy finish. It pairs well with cured meats and cheeses, as well as with tasty land-based recipes featuring red meats or game.
