The Riesling di Falkenstein was produced from 100% Riesling di FalkensteinRiesling grapes cultivated in the Naturno (BZ) area in Val Venosta. The vineyards are rooted in sandy soils interspersed with granite, slate, quartz, and mica, at an altitude between 500 and 900 meters above sea level. During the winemaking process, alcoholic fermentation took place in acacia wood at a controlled temperature. Aging was carried out for 10 months in large acacia wood barrels in contact with the yeasts, followed by another 12 months in the bottle.

On the nose, aromas of apricot and white flowers intertwine with hints of honey, citrus, and subtle ethereal notes. The palate reveals a vertical freshness and a distinct minerality that persists in the long citrusy finish. This wine pairs perfectly with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with tasty seafood recipes based on white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
