Ramì di COS is a blend of Grillo and Insolia in equal parts. For 40 years, the company has been researching and pursuing an artistic way of conceiving wine, while at the same time telling the story of the territory, and doing it very well. Each wine is an olfactory photograph of that part of Sicily located almost at the southeastern extremity, where "The taste of Africa not only jumps out with reminiscences of various architectures, but above all with the vegetation: olive groves, carob trees, almond trees, vineyards. And then, the dreamy climate, with intense shades of red, ochre, yellow." The grapes, harvested in September, ferment spontaneously on the skins for about a week, and the subsequent aging of the wine takes place between concrete and bottle.

RAMÌ COS: TASTING

Ramì di COS has a beautiful amber gold color; on the nose, it smells of dried apricot, almond, hay, citrus peel, prickly pear jelly, herbs of the Mediterranean scrubland. In the mouth, it is elegant, full-bodied, with a mandarin-like freshness, hints of pear, and an almond finish. It goes well with caponata or pasta with sardines!
