The Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Elegia di Produttori di Manduria was produced with 100% Primitivo grapes harvested in the second half of September with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare. The red vinification took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 22-24°C, with a 14-day maceration of the must in contact with the skins. The aging lasted 12 months in French oak barrels.

The Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Elegia di Produttori di Manduria presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of plum and red fruits in jam, intertwined with floral hints of rose and violet and notes of vanilla and oriental spices. The taste is intense and full-bodied, supported by dry and smooth tannins. The fruity and balsamic finish is pleasant. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as succulent earth-based dishes with red meats.
