The Primitivo di Manduria Lirica by Produttori di Manduria is made from 100% Primitivo grapes harvested in the early part of September, with a yield of about 90 quintals per hectare. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C with a 7-day maceration of the must on the skins. Aging was for 9 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

The Primitivo di Manduria Lirica by Produttori di Manduria has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of cherry and ripe red fruits combined with hints of violet and rose and notes of sweet oriental spices. The taste is soft and full-bodied, with lively yet well-integrated tannins. The finish is pleasant, with balsamic and spicy notes. Try it with a tasty baked timbale with beef meatballs.
