The Pinot Nero Riserva Monticol di Terlan is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vineyards facing South-West and East at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters above sea level. The harvest and further selection were carried out entirely by hand. The red vinification process involved a slow phase of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with maceration of the must on the skins. The aging took place for 12 months in large wooden barrels (30%) and in barrels (70% new for 1/3). The blending of the lots involved was done three months before bottling.

The Pinot Nero Riserva Monticol di Terlan is ruby red in color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it releases scents of ripe berries that intertwine with hints of tobacco, graphite, coffee dust, and dark spices. The taste is harmonious and elegant, supported by a silky tannic texture and a long mineral and spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as elaborate dishes based on red meats or game.
