The Patricia Pinot Nero di Girlan is obtained from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the subzones of Girlan, Pinzon, and Mazon, in the province of Bolzano. The vineyards are located on profiric and volcanic, as well as calcareous-clayey soils, at an altitude ranging from 380 to 530 meters above sea level. The grapes were harvested by hand with a yield of 56 hectoliters per hectare. The red vinification process included an alcoholic fermentation phase in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, lasting for 12-15 days. The aging took place for 12 months in large oak barrels of 50 hectoliters, followed by an additional 6 months in the bottle.

PINOT NERO PATRICIA GIRLAN: TASTING

Patricia Pinot Noir presents itself with a garnet red color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red berries combined with hints of undergrowth and dark oriental spices. The taste is soft and elegant, supported by a silky tannic texture and a fruity and spicy finish. This wine pairs well with aged cheeses as well as flavorful land recipes based on red meats.
