Aroma erbaceo
Corpo medioThe Pinot Grigio di Tramin is obtained from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the hills on calcareous soils of a gravelly and clayey character, at an altitude between 250 and 500 metres above sea level. After the harvest, the grapes were destemmed and softly pressed. The entire vinification process, including the refinement phase, took place in stainless steel at a constant temperature of 19° C. Pinot Grigio, of French origin, derives from a genetic mutation of Pinot Noir and is widely cultivated in various areas of Europe and the world. In Germany, it is called Ruländer, from the name of the trader who took care of its import.
Tramin's Pinot Grigio has a straw yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, it releases aromas of peach and yellow pulp fruit that combine with hints of field grass and notes of honey. On the palate, it is soft and of good structure, characterised by a delicate fresh-savoury trail that persists in the finish. Ideal as an aperitif, at the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as exquisite first and second seafood courses based on white fish and shellfish.
