Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Pecorino Terre di Chieti di Palazzo Battaglini is a 100% Pecorino-based white wine cultivated in the Villamagna area in the province of Chieti. The vineyards are trained using the Abruzzo pergola system at an estimated altitude of 255 meters above sea level. In the cellar, the white winemaking process started with the soft pressing of the grapes to produce the must. The alcoholic fermentation that converted the sugars into alcohol took place at a controlled temperature. The refinement was for several months in stainless steel. For its wines, Palazzo Battaglini uses Dring, the innovative bottle with built-in drip saver. It is a patented device that allows pouring the wine without any drops falling from the bottle. No more wine stains on the tablecloth.
The Pecorino Terre di Chieti di Palazzo Battaglini presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of yellow pulp fruit and notes of white spring flowers intertwined with hints of aromatic herbs and citrus. On the palate, it is fresh and pleasantly savory with a soft fruity and citrusy finish. At the table, it pairs well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as tasty dishes based on white fish, mollusks, or crustaceans.
