The Negroamaro Masseria Maìme by Tormaresca is produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes grown on the estate of the same name, located in the territory of San Pietro Vernotico (BR). After harvest, the grapes underwent gentle crushing to begin vinification. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 26–28°C, with maceration of the must in contact with the skins for 15 days. Aging was carried out in 300-liter French and Hungarian oak tonneaux for 12 months, followed by a further 20 months in bottle.

The Negroamaro del Salento Masseria Maìme by Tormaresca shows a ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cherry, plum and jammy berries, accompanied by floral hints of violet and notes of vanilla, black pepper and oriental spices. At the table, it pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich meat-based dishes featuring red meats or game.
