The Moscato d'Asti di Vajra is obtained from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes harvested at full ripeness towards the end of August. The reference vineyard is south-facing and consists of vines around 20 years old. The production process included a 7-day fermentation at low temperature which was subsequently interrupted to preserve the slight sparkle and the sugar content of the wine. Before bottling, the Moscato d'Asti di Vajra rested for a short period in stainless steel.

MOSCATO D'ASTI VAJRA: TASTING

The Moscato d'Asti di Vajra stands out visually with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with aromas of apricot, peach, and yellow-fleshed exotic fruit followed by hints of elderflower and sage. The taste is pleasantly aromatic and fruity, enhanced by delicate bubbles that invite for a second sip. Ideal as a holiday wine, it pairs well with blue cheeses as well as with dry pastries and delicious tarts with cream and fruit.
