The Montepulciano Podere di Umani Ronchi is born from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in vineyards located between Teramo and Chieti. After manual harvesting, the grapes were sent for vinification which included a must maceration phase in contact with the skins lasting for 10 days. This was followed by alcoholic fermentation - which converted sugars into alcohol - and malolactic fermentation - which softened the aromatic and structural edges of the wine. The refinement took place for 4 months in stainless steel and for a short period in the bottle.

The Montepulciano Podere di Umani Ronchi reveals itself with a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of cherry and small red fruits intertwine with hints of black pepper and dark spices. The sip is straightforward and robust, enhanced by strong tannins and a lively fresh-sapidity trail that persists in the finish. It pairs well with cured meats, aged cheeses, and succulent meat-based dishes featuring red meats.
