Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Liberamente di Centorame is one of the three company wines produced with spontaneous fermentation and without added sulfites. Each label of Lamberto Vannucci can be considered a cru, as the grapes always come from a single vineyard and are vinified exclusively in purity. This Montepulciano comes from half a hectare of vineyard of about 12 years old, at 200 meters above sea level with east-west exposure, on a loamy-clayey medium dough soil. The grapes are harvested late, undergo soft pressing and crushing, long maceration (up to 25 days) with careful punch-downs and délestage (délestage is a delicate phase that consists of completely emptying the tank of fermenting must, which is then sent to a support tank to ensure oxygenation); the wine then ages for 5 months in steel.
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Liberamente di Centorame presents itself as a bright ruby red; on the nose it is rich in red fruit, with candied sour cherries and syrupy plums blending with faded flowers. On the palate, it has a beautiful softness, smoothed tannins, and freshness with a pomegranate flavor. So good with a porchetta sandwich.
