Arnaldo Caprai's Montefalco Rosso is one of the company's historic labels, in production since 1975. It is composed of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino and the remaining 15% Merlot, all trained with spurred cordon. The grapes are vinified with cutting-edge methods in the cellar completely renovated in 1997, and always updated according to eco-sustainability parameters. The wine ages 12 months in Slavonian oak and French oak barriques and at least 4 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

Montefalco Rosso di Caprai enters the glass with a beautiful vivid ruby red. On the nose, it is fruity in the notes of cherry and blueberry, pleasantly flowery, with balsamic hints and sweet spices. The drink is tight and fresh, with a good balance between softness and tannic texture. This wine is the perfect companion to meats and semi-aged cheeses, as well as succulent first courses such as Amatriciana or even pizza.
