The Merlot Riserva Siebeneich di Terlan is born from 100% Merlot grapes coming from vineyards exposed to the South and Southwest at an altitude between 250 and 280 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out by hand, leading to a wine yield of 56 hectoliters per hectare. During the red vinification, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at controlled temperature. The aging occurred for 12 months in large wooden barrels (50%) and barriques (50%) with 1/3 new. The blending of the parcels took place three months before bottling.

The Merlot Riserva Siebenich from Terlan presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red berries intertwined with hints of red flower potpourri and clear balsamic and dark spice notes. The palate is soft and enveloping, supported by round tannins and a long fruity and spicy finish. It pairs well with cheeses and tasty earthy dishes based on red meats.
