Merlot "Campo del Lago" is an internationally known red wine that speaks in the Venetian dialect. Inama works with Bordeaux varieties in the Colli Berici territory in Vicenza. "Campo del Lago" is as aristocratic as it is straightforward and pragmatic. Luigi Veronelli described it as "an impossible wine, comparable in esoteric charm to the best Pauillac". The Inama family has been making wine for over forty years, with the sole aim of creating wines that reflect the territory, without bowing to trends and fashions of the moment. "Campo del Lago" is a pure Merlot from vineyards located between 200 and 250 meters above sea level, on silty-clay and limestone soils. The south and southeast exposure allows for excellent ripening, essential for obtaining grapes that can fully express their potential.

MERLOT CAMPO DEL LAGO INAMA: TASTING NOTES 

Campo del Lago by Inama presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of plum, mulberry, and ripe red fruits intertwined with balsamic scents of pine and notes of cloves and dark spices. The olfactory profile is completed by hints of toasted coffee and cocoa. The taste is round and balanced, supported by soft tannins and an elegant fresh-sapid streak that persists in the finish. At the table, it pairs well with cured meats and semi-aged cheeses as well as tasty first and second courses based on red meat.
