The Lagrein Riserva Gries di Terlan was produced with 100% Lagrein grapes grown in the Terlano area in the province of Bolzano. The reference vineyards facing South and Southwest are located at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level. The harvest and grape selection were carried out by hand. During red vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at controlled temperature with maceration of the must on the skins. The aging process lasted 12 months, 50% in large wooden barrels and 50% in barriques, one-third of which were new. The blending took place for three months before bottling.

LAGREIN RISERVA GRIES TERLAN: TASTING

The Lagrein Riserva Gries di Terlan presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it flaunts aromas of ripe red fruits followed by hints of violet and wet earth, as well as notes of cocoa powder and dark spices. The taste is full and round, supported by smooth tannins and a persistent spiced finish. It pairs well with cheeses and succulent meat dishes, especially those based on red meats or game.
