Corpo medioThe Lacryma Christi Bianco by Feudi di San Gregorio is an assembly of Coda di Volpe and Falanghina. This sub-denomination of the Vesuvio doc is used for wines from Coda di Volpe, Verdeca, Falanghina and Greco grapes, with a low yield and an alcohol content of at least 12°. The vineyards are located in the foothills of the quiescent volcano that dominates Naples. The grapes are vinified in steel, where the wine then rests for about 3 months before bottling.
The Lachryma Christi Bianco by Feudi di San Gregorio has a straw yellow crystalline colour; on the nose, it opens with flowers and white fruit, with beautiful notes of lemon and lime essential oils. In the olfactory background, as in the mouth, the volcanic mineral matrix of the soils of origin is clearly perceived. The wine has a fine structure and low alcohol, with a drinking capacity that makes it, at certain times of the year, as refreshing as water. It is drunk accompanying it with zucchini and aromatic herb omelettes, with marinated aubergines or simply with a nice slice of toasted bread and local oil.
