The Pino di Biserno di Tenuta di Biserno is a perfect Bordolese blend composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The Estate is a single continuous viticultural block called Bellaria, with a southern portion falling within the Bolgheri denomination. These vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet Franc, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The soils are alluvial, rich in limestone, calcium carbonate, and pebbles, and the climate benefits from the dual influence of the sea and the beautiful hills behind. The grapes for the Pino are vinified in steel and aged for 12 months in second-passage French oak barriques.

The Pino di Biserno di Tenuta di Biserno presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it is generous, with notes of fresh and jammy forest fruits, myrtle, rhubarb, and a sweet spiciness of mace. On the palate, it is structured and dynamic, with significant tannins balancing a certain mass and softness. This wine pairs well with hearty meat dishes, such as roasted ham or wild boar ragu pappardelle.
