The Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore di Antinori was born from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (62%), Cabernet Franc (18%), Merlot (18%), and Petit Verdot (2%) grapes grown within the Guado al Tasso estate, in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC, one of the most renowned areas worldwide for excellent winemaking. Here, the soils are alluvial - clay-sandy and clay-loamy - and the vineyards rise 50 meters above sea level, at the foot of the so-called Bolgheri Amphitheater formed by gentle hills overlooking the sea. The Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore di AntinoriGuado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore is a prestigious red wine, a true flagship of the Antinori winery: for its production, the vineyards have been divided into individual harvest parcels according to the climatic conditions of the vintage, and the grapes have been vinified separately. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15°C-20°C. Once blended, the wine rested for about 18 months in new French oak barriques before being commercialized.

The Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore by Antinori presents itself in the glass with an intense ruby red color. Broad and complex, it expresses enveloping aromas of plum and small forest fruits in jam on the nose, combined with hints of licorice root and notes of balsamic and sweet spices. The palate is silky and elegant, enhanced by a smooth tannic texture and an irresistible gustatory freshness that lingers in the long finish. At the table, it pairs well with aged cheeses and structured dishes based on red meats and game.
