Corpo medioThe Fiano Asterìas di Tempa di Zoè has been produced since 2016. "Asterìas" means Starfish in Greek; it is the first white of the company and the symbol of the star is a guide but also a reference: it takes inspiration from the presence of Monte Stella, a massif that rises in the Cilento National Park, reaching 1131 metres above sea level, which stands right on the vineyard of Fiano, nestled between the mountain and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in steel, then the wines mature 60% in steel vats and 40% in 10hl oak barrels; once blended, the wine rests for about 2 months in the bottle.
Asterìas di Tempa di Zoè is a coastal Fiano with an intense straw colour. The nose has a fruity impact of grapefruit and white peach, then offers hints of chamomile, honey, oregano, myrtle and iodine. In the mouth, it is salty, fresh, material. To breathe deeply first, then happily accompany spaghetti with breadcrumbs, or with mozzarella in a carriage or perhaps with carbonara.
