Aroma fruttato
Corpo leggeroThe Fiano di Avellino di Mastroberardino is obtained from 100% Fiano grapes from vineyards facing South-East on medium-loam soils, at an altitude of approximately 400 meters above sea level. The harvest was done by hand in the first decade of October, with a yield of about 70 quintals per hectare. The white vinification took place in stainless steel tanks for around 20 days at a temperature of 16-18°C. The refinement lasted for several months in stainless steel and in the bottle. Fiano is a grape variety known since Roman times when it was called Vitis Apiana because it was particularly loved by bees.
The Fiano di Avellino di Mastroberardino is straw yellow in color with bright reflections. On the nose, aromas of yellow pulp fruit and notes of white flowers, aromatic herbs, and citrus fruits intertwine. The taste is fruity and floral, with good body and vibrant mineral freshness. The finish of citrus and almond is pleasant. It pairs well with cheeses, vegetarian dishes, as well as tasty seafood dishes. It is recommended to try it with spaghetti with seafood in white sauce.
