Fernet-Branca was created in 1845 by Bernardino Branca, and the recipe remains a precious family secret to this day. The secret formula of Fernet-Branca, passed down through the Branca family from father to son for 5 generations, has allowed it to maintain a consistently high level of quality over the years. The 27 herbs it contains come from various countries spread across 4 continents: South Africa, China, France, India, Sri Lanka, Italy, and Argentina, to name a few.
It is the way these ingredients are processed and blended that makes Fernet-Branca so unique and impossible to imitate. It is ideal to drink neat, on the rocks, with soda, ginger beer, or in unique cocktails that Fernet-Branca enriches.
Branchinotto is a simple and refreshing recipe, born from the union of chinotto, the precious citrus fruit with an intense aroma and sour and bitter taste, and the unique taste of Fernet Branca with its 27 herbs, roots, and spices that come from four continents.
Pour the Fernet into a tall tumbler, fill with ice, and top up with chinotto.

BRANCAMILANO is the latest creation from Branca, the result of the extraordinary teamwork led by Branca's bartenders, who engage daily with the tastes and trends of Milan's dynamic locales and vibrant cultural life.
Synthesizing Milan in a single cocktail was not easy.
Branca's bartenders submitted various recipes to the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, a world-renowned institution, which approached them with a technical study, including sensory tests and cocktail evaluations.
Only three recipes passed the test and faced a final examination by the tasting committee, honored by the presence of Mayor Sala. The choice fell on BRANCAMILANO.
The new Branca signature drink, with a heart composed of the company's three iconic products: 1.5 cl Fernet-Branca, 6 cl Antica Formula, and 1.5 cl Stravecchio Branca, is poised to become the quintessential Milanese aperitif.
Pour the gremolada on the bottom, then add the three liquids and ice and mix with the stirrer. Add more ice if needed.
