Erbaluce di Caluso Vigna Misobolo di Ciek is the company cru of Erbaluce: a historic vineyard of over 50 years that embraces the hill of San Giorgio, 320 metres above sea level. It is one of the first vineyards cultivated solely with white grapes that Remo Falconieri planted. It is a particular plant, with a double pergola, which allows to have a good exposure of the bunches and low yields. Once in the cellar, the grapes are cooled overnight, de-stemmed and pressed. the must is subjected to decantation and fermented at a controlled temperature in steel vats. After a rest on the fine lees in the vat for about 12 months, it is bottled and left to rest for 6 months in the bottle.

ERBALUCE MISOBOLO CIEK: TASTING

Erbaluce di Caluso Vigna Misobolo has a bright straw yellow colour with greenish reflections; the nose is intense with fruity and vegetal aromas of pear, plum, yellow flowers, sage and marjoram. On the palate, it is fresh and satisfying with a nice flavour. This Erbaluce goes perfectly with chicken tuna.
