The Chardonnay Kleinstein of Cantina Bolzano is part of the Election line which brings together single-variety wines (with the exception of Santa Maddalena) with the best territorial expression. Kleinstein is produced with grapes grown at 500 metres above sea level, on the slopes overlooking Bolzano; Bolzano is in fact located in an area particularly suited to viticulture: in the centre of a large sunny basin and surrounded by steep slopes. The care and attention to the land and the vines is a matter of primary importance for the winemakers of Kellerei Bozen - Cantina Bolzano who every day use a sustainable and respectful approach to nature and the territory. The harvest takes place in the second half of September and the grapes undergo a soft pressing. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are carried out partly in steel, partly in wood; the wine then ages on the fine lees in steel vats.

CHARDONNAY KLEINSTEIN WINERY BOLZANO: TASTING

Cantina di Bolzano's Chardonnay Kleinstein enters the glass with a beautiful intense straw colour with golden reflections; on the nose, it offers exotic hints of pineapple and papaya, banana and vanilla. On the palate, it has a certain softness well balanced by acidity and pronounced minerality. Very versatile, it is excellent in the company of a risotto with clams, as with pizza.
