Pol Roger's Champagne Brut Reserve is an assembly in equivalent parts of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from 30 different crus. 25% of the mass is made up of reserve wines with about 4 years of ageing: Pinot Noir, which brings structure and power, comes mainly from the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims; Pinot Meunier, which adds freshness and fruit, is harvested from different vineyards between Vallée de la Marne and Epernay; finally, the Chardonnay, which gives aromatic complexity, elegance, panache, comes from Epernay and from some of the best vineyards of the Côte de Blancs. The vintage grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature; all the wines undergo malolactic fermentation and are then carefully assembled in preparation for the second fermentation.  

CHAMPAGNE RESERVE BRUT POL ROGER: TASTING  

The Champagne Reserve Brut by Pol Roger is shown in the glass with a beautiful yellow between straw and golden, with an elegant and dense perlage. On the nose, it is rich in fruit (pear and mango first), with hints of wood, jasmine and notes of buttery bread. On the palate, it is fresh and dynamic, tasty with fruit jam and acacia honey at the entrance, candied citrus fruits and lasting balsamic spices. Very good with baked sea bream.
