Corpo leggeroPommery's Champagne Apanage Brut is a historic label in absolute terms in Champagne. It was in fact Louise Pommery, who started producing wine only in 1858, on the death of her husband Luis, who decided to take a step in the direction of the dominant taste of the great potential buyers of the time (Americans, Russians and English) by producing, in 1874, the first Brut cuvee of Champagne. Brut Royal is produced from Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Nero grapes.
Pommery's Apanage Brut Champagne is presented in the glass with a lively straw yellow colour, with sparkling greenish reflections. On the nose, it is rich in citrus notes and white flowers, with references to gooseberries. In the mouth, it is elegant with a very fine perlage, a nice balanced taste and a particularly inviting drink. To sip to relax, it is the perfect beginning of every evening in good company; even more so if you have some sage to fry, some anchovies and salted butter from Normandy.
