Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC 2025 by Emidio Pepe is made exclusively from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes, vinified as a white wine. Fermentation takes place without the skins, in small vitrified concrete tanks, following an approach designed to preserve the aromatic purity of the fruit and the natural energy of the grape variety.

The 2025 vintage was produced in a smaller quantity than usual and stands out for its generous alcohol content, combined with slightly lower acidity than in previous years. The result is a rosé of remarkable presence, full and structured, with intense and persistent aromas that enhance its expressive character.

The 3 senses

In the glass, it shows a bright pale pink colour. On the nose, it is intense and rich, with fruity notes of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate, supported by a calm and elegant floral accent of geranium. On the palate, it reveals a slight tannic texture, good acidic and savoury support, and pleasant echoes of wild strawberries and raspberries.
