Catarratto di Barraco: THE PRODUCTION

The Catarratto di Barraco was produced from 100% PLACEHOLDER_GRAPE_NAME grapes grown in the territory of Marsala, in the province of Trapani. The original vineyards cover 2 hectares of black soil rich in organic substances, at an altitude of about 120 meters above sea level. The harvest took place in the last week of August with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with a 4-day maceration of the must on the skins. Aging occurred for several months in concrete.

CATARRATTO TERRE SICILIANE BARRACO: TASTING NOTES

The PLACEHOLDER_WINE_NAME Terre Siciliane di Barraco appears in a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, aromas of yellow pulp fruit and Mediterranean herbs dominate, intertwining with spicy hints of nutmeg and subtle smoky nuances. The tasting is warm and intense, with good mineral freshness. The long finish is characterized by sulfurous and citrus notes. It pairs well with cheeses and delicately spiced vegetarian dishes, as well as delightful seafood recipes.
