The Carricante e Chardonnay Valcanzjria di Gulfi is obtained from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Carricante grapes grown in the territory of Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the province of Ragusa. The reference vineyard, called Vigna Muti, consists of bush-trained vines rooted in limestone-clay soils, at an altitude of about 420 meters above sea level. After the harvest, carried out with a yield of 80 quintals per hectare, the grapes were sent for vinification. Alcoholic fermentation took place in controlled temperature stainless steel tanks. The aging process occurred always in stainless steel, in contact with the lees for about 6 months, followed by a brief period in the bottle.

In the glass, the Carricante e Chardonnay Valcanzjria di Gulfi presents itself with a straw-yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of tropical yellow fruit that combine with hints of white flowers and notes of aromatic herbs. The taste is fresh and savory, enhanced by a pleasant almond finish. It pairs well with fresh cheeses, vegetarian dishes, and delicious seafood-based first and second courses with fish, mollusks, and crustaceans.
