Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioCarménère "Più" is born in the Vicenza area of the Colli Berici and from the challenge of focusing on a little-known red Bordeaux grape variety, often confused in the past with Cabernet Franc. Carménère is an ancient French variety that arrived in Veneto in the second half of the nineteenth century, adapting very well to the territory and climate, but has always been somewhat overshadowed by the great commercial success of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The soils were generated by an ancient phenomenon of bradyseism, which led to the emergence of a rocky ridge of karst limestone, covered with red soils rich in iron oxides, clayey, and silty in nature. The label offers a cuvée made with a majority percentage of Carménère, made more harmonious, soft, and pleasantly fruity by the presence of a touch of Merlot.
Carménère Più by Inama presents itself with a ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, it releases aromas of blueberry and dark berries combined with enveloping scents of cocoa and warm notes of black pepper and dark spices. The taste is soft and balanced, enhanced by well-integrated tannins and a clearly fruity and spicy flavor that persists in the finish. At the table, it pairs well with cured meats and aged cheeses as well as succulent red meat dishes.
