Cardanera di Argiolas is a Carignano mainly produced with grapes from the Tenuta Is Solinas. The Is Solinas estate covers about 15 hectares along the coast, on the Gulf of Palmas in the southwest of Sardinia. The microclimate, thanks to the action of the wind and the great temperature range, is ideal for growing the Carignano grape variety. The sandstone of these lands retains the moisture of the night, naturally protecting from drought and giving life to lush vineyards with incredibly rich fruits. The grapes are vinified in steel and the wine is then aged in cement, with the aim of preserving unchanged and genuine the territorial character and the fruit of the grape variety.

The Carignano Cardanera di Argiolas is bright ruby red; on the nose, it is pure Sardinia: myrtle, laurel, blackberries, black pepper, balsamic hints of licorice. In the mouth, it is fresh, savory, with fine and balanced tannins. Perfect, to stay in the region, with malloreddus alla campidanese, to get out, with Maremman wild boar cold cuts.
