The Barolo Rocche di Castiglione di Vietti was produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the area of the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, in the province of Cuneo. The eponymous reference vineyard, facing South-East, is one of the historic crus of the entire Barolo region. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the must in contact with the skins took place in stainless steel tanks. The aging process lasted for about 30 months in oak barrels.

The Barolo Rocche di Castiglione di Vietti presents itself with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe red fruits combined with hints of potpourri, licorice, and dark spices. Delicate nuances of undergrowth complement the olfactory profile. The sip is deep and powerful, enhanced by significant yet well-integrated tannins and an elegant, long fruity, and spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as elaborate earth-based recipes with red meats or game.
