Barolo Monprivato DOCG 2012 by Giuseppe Mascarello is produced from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the historic Monprivato cru in Castiglione Falletto. Made in a traditional style, it is a refined and profound Barolo that elegantly expresses the distinctive character of one of the Langhe’s most prestigious vineyards.

Its aromatic profile is complex and layered, with notes reminiscent of dried rose petals, red berries, delicate spices, balsamic herbs and subtle earthy nuances. The palate is structured yet harmonious, supported by broad, polished tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, articulate finish.

An excellent wine for contemplation and special occasions, it pairs beautifully with braised meats, roasts, game, truffle dishes, mature cheeses and traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Serve at approximately 18 °C after allowing the wine sufficient time to breathe.
