The Barolo Bussia di Aldo Conterno is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes originating from the prestigious cru Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo. The manual harvest, carried out in mid-October, involved vines that were 15-20 years old. During the winemaking process, alcoholic fermentation took place thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks with a maceration of the must on the skins for 20-30 days. The aging process lasted 26 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
BAROLO BUSSIA ALDO CONTERNO: TASTING NOTES
The Barolo Bussia di Aldo Conterno presents itself with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe small red fruits and violets intertwined with hints of leather and dark spices. The olfactory profile is completed with notes of balsamic herbs and undergrowth. The taste is structured and elegant, supported by refined tannins and a long fruity and spicy finish. Pair it well with aged cheeses and flavorful dishes based on red meats or game at the table.Product specifications
