The Barbera di CerettoBarbera Piana di Ceretto is produced on the Monsordo Bernardina Estate, the ancient farmhouse on the outskirts of Alba, for years now the epicenter of the Ceretto family's work, and since 2009 made even more recognizable with the installation of the Grape by Piedmontese architects Luca and Marina Deabate, a bubble suspended over the Langhe landscape. The over 30 hectares of vineyards surrounding the farmhouse host traditional and international varieties, all cultivated according to strong principles of environmental sustainability. This Barbera di CerettoBarbera comes from a 2.75-hectare plot and is entirely worked in steel, with the intention of highlighting the characteristic traits of the vine.

BARBERA CERETTO PIANA: TASTING

The Barbera di CerettoBarbera d'Alba Piana di Ceretto has a beautiful ruby color with youthful purplish reflections. The olfactory profile is composed of fresh red fruits, aromatic herbs, sweet spices, and forest balsams; on the palate, it is rich, with lively floral acidity, delicate tannins, and tasty savoriness. Perfect companion for flavorful and fatty traditional dishes, such as braised veal cheek.
