Barbaresco Riserva Pora by Produttori del Barbaresco is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Barbaresco area of the Cuneo province. The vineyard, named Pora, covers 10.7 hectares with a south, southwest exposure and is situated on clay-limestone soils with sandy veins, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. The alcoholic fermentation, which converts the sugars into alcohol, took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 30°C, with the must macerating on the skins for 28 days. Before being released to the market, the Barbaresco Riserva Pora DOCG from Produttori del Barbaresco aged for 36 months in oak barrels and an additional 12 months in the bottle.

The Barbaresco Riserva Pora by Produttori del Barbaresco shows a seductive ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of cherry and ripe wild berries combined with floral notes of rose and violet, along with hints of licorice and dark oriental spices. The aromatic profile is completed by balsamic and underbrush nuances. On the palate, it is rich and deep, characterized by a silky tannic structure and a gentle fresh-sapid trail that persists in the finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as flavorful dishes based on red meat or game.
