Aroma floreale
Corpo medioPrunotto's Roero Arneis DOCG is born from 100% Arneis grapes grown in vineyards of Monteu Roero, Montaldo Roero, Montà and Vezza d'Alba characterised by soils rich in sands and limestone clays. After harvesting and soft pressing, the must was fermented at a temperature not exceeding 18° C for about 15 days. Before being bottled, the wine was aged for a few months in stainless steel tanks. Arneis is a white grape variety typical of Roero, a historical-geographical area located north-east of the province of Cuneo which derives its name from the noble family of the same name that has dominated it for centuries. In addition to Piedmont, Arneis is also widespread in Liguria and Sardinia.
Prunotto's Roero Arneis announces itself in the glass of a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, it has intense hints of white flowers and yellow pulp fruit intertwine with delicate citrus notes. The sip is pleasant and balanced, supported by a lively freshness and excellent flavour. At the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses, vegetarian dishes and seafood recipes.
