Vigneti Massa's Timorasso Piccolo Derthona is the "adolescent" of the house, the last born and the one with the most immediate expression, but no less interesting. The grapes come from the younger Timorasso vineyards; we are in Monleale, in the province of Alessandria, and the company vineyards are arranged along a natural amphitheatre close to the town square, on clay and marl soils. Walter Massa is considered the "Father" of this vine, the one who, since the Eighties, has recovered it from oblivion and has been able to enhance and communicate it. The grapes are vinified in steel with short maceration and subsequent refinement of about 6 months.

TIMORASSO PICCOLO DERTHONA VIGNETI MASSA: TASTING

Vigneti Massa's Timorasso Piccolo Derthona is intense straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose smells of flowers, propolis, aromatic herbs and hot rock; on the palate, it is sapid, ample, fresh and with a slightly bitter finish. Very good wine and capable of accompanying the table with pride, from structured fish dishes, the carbonara di mare for example, to white meats, rabbit with herbs to name a preparation.
