The Vernaccia di Oristano Riserva 1997 by Contini is obtained from 100% Vernaccia grapes from the lower Sinis Valley and the Sinis area. The vineyards are rooted in alluvial soil, sandy and slightly clayey in nature. The harvest was carried out with a yield of 30-40 quintals per hectare. During white vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature. The aging occurred for 20 years in oak and chestnut barrels left full to allow the creation of the flor yeast veil which gives the classic aromas of Vernaccia di Oristano.

The Vernaccia di Oristano Riserva 1997 by Contini presents an intense amber yellow color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of apricot and dried yellow fruit that meet hints of honey and roasted hazelnuts. The olfactory profile is complemented by notes of almond flowers and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is rich and enveloping, characterized by a clear fresh sapid trail that lingers in the long finish. Excellent as a wine for meditation, it pairs well with blue cheeses as well as spoon desserts and dry pastries.
