Antinori's Vermentino Guado al Tasso was made from 100% Vermentino grapes grown on the Guado al Tasso estate which extends for 320 kilometres, in the heart of the prestigious Bolgheri DOC area. After the harvest, the grapes were destemmed and softly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at a constant temperature of 16° C, preceding the assembly of the various batches. Antinori's Vermentino Bolgheri DOC Guado al Tasso was bottled in January.

VERMENTINO GUADO AL TASSO ANTINORI: TASTING

The Vermentino Bolgheri DOC Guado al Tasso by Antinori is announced in the glass of a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, it has aromas of yellow pulp fruit and spring flowers emerge, which combine with citrus scents and balsamic notes of Mediterranean herbs. At the sip, it reveals a delicately fruity and herbaceous taste, supported by a delicate freshness and an intriguing minerality that persists in the finish. At the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses, vegetable-based dishes as well as delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
