The Poggio alla Guardia di Rocca di Frassinello comes from 40% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Syrah grapes grown in the territory of Gavorrano, in the province of Grosseto. The vineyards here are located on medium texture soils rich in skeleton, at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level. The red vinification took place entirely in stainless steel. The aging was for 12 months in cement and an additional 4 months in the bottle.
