The Maggiorina di Le Piane is derived from a blend of Nebbiolo, Croatina, and 10 other native white and red berry vines collected from the municipalities of Boca and Prato Sesia, in the province of Novara. The peculiarity of this wine lies in its eponymous and ancient training system, workable only by hand, which is based on four vines capable of developing in four cardinal points. During red winemaking, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel with the must maceration on the skins for 5-6 days. The refinement took place for 12 months always in stainless steel.

MAGGIORINA LE PIANE: TASTING

The Maggiorina di Le Piane offers a ruby red color to the sight. Upon the nose, it begins with scents of small fruits and red berries, along with floral hints of violet meeting spicy notes and aromatic herbs. The tasting is soft and aromatic, fresh and of good minerality. Well-integrated tannins. It pairs well with cold cuts and cheeses, as well as with tasty land recipes.
