Roero Arneis di Bruno Giacosa: THE WINE
The Roero Arneis di Bruno Giacosa is, as you can easily imagine, one of the happiest representations of the denomination. Bruno Giacosa was one of the first producers to bottle Arneis, thus elevating and saving it. Today, his daughter Bruna continues the work of constant research for quality and uniqueness, on every wine, every label. The Arneis grapes, from thirty-year-old vines around Vezza d'Alba, Monteu Roero, Santo Stefano Roero, Canale, and Montà d'Alba, are vinified in steel with a long fermentation, which can last up to a month. The wine then refines, always in steel, for about 4 months and one more in the bottle before being released on the market.
ROERO ARNEIS BRUNO GIACOSA: TASTING NOTES
The Roero Arneis di Bruno Giacosa has an intense straw yellow color, with bright greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers citrus freshness, hints of pineapple and peach, notes of dried fruit, as well as white flower nuances; the palate has structure, width and at the same time verticality, saline minerality, and length. It pairs perfectly with Piedmontese salad of celery, walnuts, and cheese, as well as with the traditional warm seafood salad.Product specifications
